The Schematic Design for Eden Prairie Library focused on the introduction of light into the interior and creation of a variety of spaces within the existing building.

Large floor-to-ceiling windows are added to the north face of the building, where the children's library is located, to animate the views from outside and help provide a sense of bustling activity to passers by.
